In the 1950s, about 1 million Kikuyu people in Africa were put into concentration camps by the British. The legacy of racial desolation carried out by and continued by oppressive imperial and colonial powers requires a race specific response. We are oppressed, massacred, and painted as uncivilized because we are Black, in order to maintain white comfort created through Black exploitation. We must unite under the banner of Black Nationalism and Pan Africanism to create counterbalancing power to hold the evil machinations of white powers at bay.
